  • Daily
  • Monthly
  • Yearly

Daily (nitya pooja) e.g. Panchayathana pooja

  1. To mark an occasion (naimityaka pooja) e.g. Ganesh and Lakshmi pooja done on Deepavali and Saraswati pooja done during Vasanthapanchami
  2. To fulfil a need or desire (kamya pooja) - e.g. For health, wealth, a child, for mental peace
